You wouldn't believe how many people in low-level locker rooms have literally less than zero understanding of wrestling.
I've been around people who unironically brag about winning fake matches.
The closest you'll get to somebody being willing to sell/bump for you is if you're having a mark hardcore match in front of 50 neckbeards where your opponent will buy their own barbed wire to fall through.
Just a quick rant to say that if you see a wrestler make it to TV it's not because they do cool moves but because they aren't afraid of looking dumb.
It's a perpetual humiliation ritual business.
