Why could he never get the terms "superstar" or "sports entertainment" over? Even the most hardcore WWE fans who've never watched any other wrestling rarely use them.

Superstar is used pretty often, it does help that some of them are relevant outside of wrestling, sports entertainment is very rarely used, and usually it's used in a derogatory way towards WWE's product. Vince didn't try to get them over because he hates pro wrestling but because he does things his own way, he viewed his product as entertainment more than wrestling.

You're absolutely right but I heard they use "medical facility/center" instead of "hospital" because marks would call area hospitals whenever they used an ambulance exit in an angle. The "medical center" term is a little more vague.
