The thing is that people pop for guys that are fresh and new in a promotion. Lashley is getting a better reception in AEW than he would have had in WWE doing the same shit and MCMG being in WWE creates more hype for WWE than Lashley being there for another three years on top of all the years he's been there already. Wrestlers in the territory days knew this and switched territories so people didn't get sick of them. This is what we are seeing now, except one territory has no crowds so that's a bit sad.

Shelton is an actual talent unlike all these useless brown nobodies wrestling is filled with now. I wouldn't put a belt on him unless it was to put a younger guy over but still I'd much prefer him over these... talents on tv now.
