His singles work has improved. The only half-decent singles match he had in NJ was v Yoshihashi. In AEW, he's been given the learning experience of facing Danielson, Omega, Ospreay, MJF, Okada, Takeshita in 1v1 matches.
Fletcher has run with the ball he was given after Davis got a mystery injury that has kept him out forever. AEW has been sending him out on media duties and he's nailed it. Look at the videos of him on the CBS affiliate pimping the Cedar Rapids show.
They're doing plenty wrong, but Fletcher is one of the success stories this year. I don't expect a 'Tony Con, lol, dub bad' poster to be rational though.
