For me, I feel immersed by a storyline where a wrestler experiences great personal trauma, undergoes a period of loss, but then a redemption arc kicks in and they end up winning the belt at the end of a long path. It matters not a jot if they aren't a draw with the belt, it's all about the arc for me.
