Parker Boudreaux, the powerhouse talent once likened to Brock Lesnar, has reached a new level in his wrestling journey, currently working dates for Japan’s GLEAT promotion and AAA in Mexico. With three years since his debut, Boudreaux is gaining invaluable insight from one of wrestling’s most respected minds—Paul Heyman. The legendary manager remains closely involved, reviewing Boudreaux’s matches from GLEAT, where he’s making waves in Japan’s wrestling scene.

In a recent interview with Cultaholic, Boudreaux opened up about his ongoing connection with Heyman, crediting him and Jim Ross for recruiting him into wrestling.

“I still talk to him [Heyman] every other week,” Boudreaux said, recalling how Heyman guided him away from college football and into the ring.

He added, “I sat down with him at the Ritz-Carlton when I was probably 17 or 18. We talked for hours… he told me how I could be really solid in this industry.” Boudreaux described the conversation as “inspiring,” especially coming from Heyman, who’s managed some of wrestling’s biggest legends.

Boudreaux revealed that he watched the iconic Eddie Guerrero vs. Brock Lesnar match from No Way Out during his teenage years, at around 16, on Heyman and Ross’s recommendation. That match became a pivotal moment in how he viewed wrestling. Now, years later, he’s sending his own matches to Heyman for feedback, saying, “I sent him my matches in Japan. He’s reviewing them now so, yeah man, he likes to see my work… I think he’s excited about this Japan thing.”

Boudreaux also expressed deep gratitude to GLEAT and Japanese wrestling icon CIMA, who played a key role in inviting him to Japan. Boudreaux shared, “Super grateful for GLEAT and everyone there, especially CIMA… he invited me to Japan and really got this whole thing rolling.”
