Bret/Shawn isn't even a great rivalry. Their matches weren't great and they had questionable chemistry.
The stories around their matches were almost always shit too.

It's one of those WWE revisionist history things where Bret/Shawn is treated as some epic, all-time feud just because they didn't like each other in real life and the Montreal Screwjob happened.
