The face of a wrestling company, especially one like WWE, is someone who is completely homegrown, completely invested in your fed with no interest or even inkling of going elsewhere, has mainstream appeal, who has the desire and ability to crossover to other media, and whose whole persona is linked to your fed and nothing else. That is not Cody and it never will be. You don't have to like Roman. WWE doesn't care. Roman is not there for smark fans. Other people are there for smark fans.
