They attacked Tony and he was on TV at the start of the next episode. There was no explanation as regards to why he couldn't call his employees and tell them what to do. There was no explanation as to why he could or could not change the 2 or 3 things the Bucks tried to do. The Elite won no titles during their 2 weeks of power. They already had titles and Perry won the TNT title afterwards which included an angle where Tony stopped them from giving him the belt.
The angle went nowhere and never made any sense. The only thing they did was give Christian a title match against Swerve instead of someone in their own group. There was never a pay-off for them picking on Swerve either, it was just turned into Hangman Vs Swerve again and the Elite vanished from it all.
The BCC thing kicked off long afterwards and is the same nonsense. Security will stop 3 fights on a show but do nothing about the BCC. The BCC have no power in the company but do whatever they want. The EVPs are afraid of them for no reason. There's a blatant attempt at foreshadowing Perry being involved in the BCC but it's badly done and just implied once every 5 or 6 weeks. What that anon typed out is cope.
