Well, I don't know where he'd go from here. He was in a long feud with Copeland that ended with him losing and now Adam Cole squashed him on Dynamite. He's also been whiny for years, Tony should just let him go, but probably won't out of spite

Most of the insiders seem to think his contract is set to end in late December or January. But I trust dirtsheets like I trust a meth addict telling me "I ain't smoke that shit no more bro."

Also the type of contract he has, has extensions in it where Tony can if he wants to pay him a bit more to extend it for another year.
If Tony thinks he's leaving for WWE or TNA then Tony will definitely pay the extension option to prevent him from going to WWE or TNA. Tony is that petty. He'd buy out an option just for that even if he doesn't have any plans to use him.

If he made it clear what his intentions were then Tony would interfere like he did with Fenix. He knows not to get trapped like the Luchador Bros did.

Tony holding the Luchador Bros hostage has guaranteed that no one in AEW will ever be honest about their plans to leave again. That was some insanely evil and petty shit he did to Fenix. Especially considering he rarely uses them.
