The thing with "sports-based presentation" is this: Even if AEW legitimately moved away from being cringe tranny slop for redditors and actually committed to being serious, why is a "sports" vibe supposed to be appealing to anyone? Sports are inaccessible and hard to follow to anyone who isn't already a sports fan from youth, and American sports are literally a gambling regulation push away from dying a slow death. Why would you want to emulate that?
