The biggest thing to come out of him leaving WWE is seeing who Ricochet actually is in his heart and soul. And he is a bitter and angry person. I am a fan of Ricochet. But his attitude is so ugly on X it has hurt my opinion of him. If he carried this attitude around backstage then I can imagine it being hard to work with him and why he was in the spot he was in.
That said I hope he fairs better in AEW but it's extremely unlikely. Tony will never put either World Title on him. Not RoH nor AEW. I'm not even sure he'll get any title even with all superfluous titles that float around AEW and ROH that mean nothing. But even if he does get one of those superfluous belts it won't be on par with the intercontinental title. Tony has already got bored of him.
