When the television news tells him something, and then it's reinforced by his favorite liberal comedian's TV show that uses wrestling style promo delivery, it impacts him. He thinks the emotion behind it has real meaning.
Although, this is still the guy whose actual views don't align at all with modern leftist or liberal ideas. He's just caught up in the theatrics of it all. What's the most curious to me is how often he'll praise Vince (Which is fine, he had a close relationship with him) and on the same show say he's exactly like Donald Trump, the guy who he does nothing but seethe over.
