WWE and AEW aren't very good right now. Wrestling in general right now has gotten really boring. Not sure if it's them or if I'm just getting older

While you could be personally growing out if it which is a completely individual thing so I couldn't comment on that. I do think the wrestling shows we get now are nowhere near as good as what we used to get 20 or so years ago

This is not even true in the slightest and I'm tired of people writing off one of the oldest and deepest traditions in wrestling almost entirely because they're only exposed to modern flippy jobbers botching on US TV and the indies. You can find as much heat, grounded psychology and physical drama in 80s/90s CMLL as in any other great period of wrestling. The only things that are cheesy about guys like El Satanico and Pirata Morgan are their names.

I've mostly been watching Japan stuff but gave Crown Jewel a chance. Something is off. Psychology has gotten bad, especially with the women. Horrible worked punches, bad matched, even Kairi was botching. And Jakara just isn't ready. Beautiful woman but far from TV ready.

Yeah, it's pretty surprising. The Vinnie Mac magic is gone. Triple H is doing some cool stuff like some of new entrances and camers angles he's using but the wrestling has been atrocious.

It's like Triple H saw that the NFL is more popular than ever despite all the safety protocols and soft hits, that he figured he could do the same in WWE. They're working house show style matches nowadays, way too soft looking. Even some of the better women like Roxanne have such terrible worked punches that you can't take her seriously. They went soft mode with Triple H era to prevent injury.
