>>16258793I think he was punished for being a handpicked CM Punk guy. Otherwise he's pretty much everything Tony wants in a wrestler and I can't see any other reason why he's been geeked out so much. He's not a big guy but he's in good shape, ex-Bullet Club leader and NJPW main eventer, is a generous team player, does his moves cleanly, can have long "epic" matches, cuts "funny" promos. The only thing is, he doesn't flip but neither do most of their world champions.
