>>16259332They aren't made up, other production companies etc. inflate costs to scam money and get money for their own projects, that's how the business works, and production budgets often don't include marketing which can end up being the same amount, and again, they are overcharging to fund the shit they actually want to do. The majority of movies are flops, that's a factual statistic, and if you want to know how they keep making movies, you start to realize it's from money circulating from other companies and their flops they help produce which fund future shit. It's an endless circle of them all paying each other and hoping for the rare hit to maje up for it.
