This is a good thing if you give a shit about the wrestlers. Taping half the shows will allow them more time off during the holidays.

I actually genuinely wouldn't mind if WWE took all of December off every year.
They could air a lot the bts stuff they shoot all year during that period. People genuinely like seeing those bts videos.

It's actually because the booking is so predictable now that it doesn't matter if it's live or taped. The reason live shows used to matter was because anything could happen and you didn't want to miss it. That aspect is gone, and so ratings are down across the board. They don't get any lower when taped because all that's left are the diehards and the habitual watchers.

wrestlers should be off completely from survivor series till just after new years. The fill in episodes should be clips shows to catch up new viewers as a yearly recap before the build to royal Rumble.
