>WHAT'S WITH ALL THE MIDGETS IN WRASSLIN THESE DAYS?
>They're all so small! DURRRR
Wrestling has finally figured out what Hollywood has known since its very beginning: it isn't about SIZE, it's about SCALE. It's about how you present your stars, not how they actually are. Wrestling is a television business and so it should use the same sort of tricks tv/film have always used.
There have always been manlet stars in Hollywood. Cagney, Bogart, Hoffman, DeNiro, Cruise, etc.
It doesn't matter if a guy's short if he is surrounded by other short guys -- he'll just look like a guy. And if a guy who is 6'3'' is surrounded by manlets, he'll look huge. You can present the same exact scale to the audience as you could in 1995, just with everyone being shorter.
