Top 20 or so. He had ups and downs, but he was always alright up until the end. My only bitch is he didn't retire earlier. Seeing old guys hobble around has the same appeal as flippy-shitters for me; none.

Obviously the last few years were shitty, but he improved in-ring so much later in his career I can see why he kept thinking "one more time" until it was too late

Great list and pretty similar to mine. Andre the Giant and Bob Backlund are massive omissions though. I'd also put The Destroyer on the list even though he's not as much of a household name in America. And if we're counting Mexico, there are a few more than just Santo that could make the cut (his son is a personal top 10 guy for me)
