>>16291649That's the funniest thing about this whole situation. Stardom was Rossy's lucky break. He failed with Arsion, failed with JDStar and was getting by by being Fukas manager, promoting her self-produced Shinkiba shows, before she retired.
And his story as a promoter would most likely end here, being a largely irrelevant footnote and failure in wrestling history, whose biggest accomplishment was being the guy who brought the Matsunaga brothers their coffee during AJWs peak.
But then Yuzuki Aikawa gets cast in some wrestling themed TV drama and she decides to get actual wrestling training to prepare, with her trainers being Nosawa and Fuka. Fuka then links her up with Rossy and a year later, Stardom is born. Stardom then, almost instantly, rises to the top of a pretty much dead joshi scene and stays there, with some ups and downs.
And when Bushiroad takes over and triples the fanbase, it's fair to say that this was Rossy's one success. So instead of taking the W, retire a winner, all past failures forgotten, he's now setting himself up to go down with yet another failed promotion.
