ofc I also blame Cornette/OWV too to some extent. Cornette doesn't even realize it either but the old school respect values he was trying to instill in his students were gone in WWE at that time. Locker room hazing/becoming one of the guys was replaced with bullies. You were never going to take some shit and then do a well placed joke to earn respect. The guys then just wanted to fuck with and laugh at you. There were no lessons or dues being paid. And when new talent tried it they were punished because it wasn't a respect thing.
