When you look at who's on top of pro wrestling today it's almost all people who were around in the 2000s in some capacity or nepobabies. I genuinely have no idea how wrestling is going to survive the 2000s generation retiring. How do you replace such irreplaceable assets? That generational dropoff has even happened on a smaller scale in Japan already. How do you follow up an era built around the youthful exuberance of various 42 year olds?
