Netflix really isn't interested in the Archives. They want to make money with new live weekly streams (that they can sell ads on)
They don't want to pay to maintain archives.
Peacock is paying for it as a tag-along to the PLEs. Peacock won't care about the Archives if they get outbid by Netflix for the PLEs. Netflix could potentially offer more money for the PLEs alone than Peacock could offer for the PLEs and the full Network (archives, docs, etc)
Its kind dependent on how big WWE is over the next year with SNME on NBC, Rumble, Mania, 2 night Summerslam on Peacock,
If the boom keeps rising, then theyre in the best position possible to get Peacock to make a massive offer to keep it
