In terms of popularity, the most popular one is probably Darby although MJF is a close second, then Jack then Sammy

He was pushed pretty hard at the very start, and was growing in popularity, then he fucked up the TNA partnership by refusing to job. So now he jobs on Ring of Honor.

I wasn't groomed by /pol/ so I'm not going to pretend MJF is bad. He's been booked bad, and he clearly like taking time off, but that applies to everyone in AEW. Hopefully he can escape to WWE before he's 40.
Jungle Jack sucks, anyone who claims to like him will pretend to like anything on AEW TV. Even in the spot money style he doesn't do the coolest moves and is pretty uncoordinated. As a "badass" he's just not built to play the part.
Sammy might be the worst wrestler I've ever seen, his comments about houseshows tells us all we need to know about where he is mentally. Very Punchable though, he could make a great manager, toss a turban and a suit on him and have him take bumps when the actual heels run away.
Darby is built for AEW, anywhere else he's too small and his lifestyle too extreme. But he wasted too many years babysitting Sting. I'm sure he's going to be brought in to knock off Moxley at the end of this storyline, but they'll drop the ball him him after that and probably a few times before.

MJF:
TK blew his load on him too soon. MJF need a few more years for experience and chasing the title. He was way too young to be able to handle a rocket strapped to him

Jungle Boy:
He had solid start in the company. Jericho quickly made him look like a big deal during that main event that went to a draw. Jack had the biggest uphill out of all 4 of them though. His downfall already began when they stuck Marko Stunt with him and Luchasaurs. Jungle Express would've been insanely over without Marko. Jack should've also bulked up. He has the same problem as Adam Cole. He needs to look like an athlete. Last but not least he needed mic skills. This wouldn't actually be as big of a hurdle as people think. If he would've been booked in good feuds and have a good mentor and manager it could've worked.

Sammy:
Also over as a heel in the beginning. Jericho made him ditch that shitty panda headgear and turned him into an obnoxious zoomer gimmick which worked well as a gimmick. If he didn't turn face and if his moveset would've been more Eddie Guerrero-ish instead of flippy shit he'd have all the ingredients. He was pretty much a heel Darby.

Darby:
He had it all really. Even mic skills judging by his early promo packages in the early days of AEW when Dynamite hadn't even started. He just needed good feuds and stories. Instead he got stuck with Sting in tag matches for over 2 years.

All of the above are really the result of shitty leadership, shitty booking and shitty mentoring
