>>16330745The Mike Jackson fight pretty much cemented Phil was a complete failure of a fighter, if the galloping towards Mickey Gall hadn't done already. His kicks were unfathomably uncoordinated and weak, his striking was low and with no power, Mike Jackson had no respect for it and Phil maybe landed once on him, in slow motion.
Phil's cardio was so miserably bad that by round 2 he was completely exhausted and Mike Jackson started tickling him at some point to wake him up from the coma he was in. Phil should've just tapped out to that just to save face.
I think the only thing phil showed was one takedown that he couldn't even take advantage of, his guard sucked and could never stop MIke from hitting him, his triangle attempt was pathetic. He got cracked once with a straight right by Mike and Phil was already stunned and hurt.
It's like Dana White said, Mike simply didn't want to finish Phil to "keep the show going" and made a circus out of it in a UFC main card thinking he looked cool by styling on a corpse like Phil
