I am not here to make a shitpost or call anyone names . The simple fact is the fed has been exposed so many times at this point as a clown show. Tony has done himself zero favors to not be viewed as a lolcow. The fed is a distant number 2 and I don’t see that changing with current leadership. The hard work that elite did with Cody to make this thing work was literally undone by marks like Tony, Jericho , the online fake journalist like Sapp and Dave and smarks like Bix.
It’s uncool, it’s corny and cringy. The fed was built on making fun of pro wrestling to only become the joke. No body cares about “bangers” or “work rate”, the king has always been good television and AEW can’t produce it.
Kenny had a choice to make this a serious fed but instead he decided to 69 Don in the middle of the ring. The bucks wanted to larp as EVPs and got ass blasted by cm punk . Cody wanted the Cody verse and fell victim to the internet fans who never liked him. Tony is a mark and the made the whole show about Tony .
