Tony is literally booking things he saw as a teenager and actively imitating other companies' most successful ideas without any reason or build. He's a mark, that's what a mark does. He has no vision of his own.
So far as his other jobs go, he doesn't actually do anything in those positions. He reads reports at meetings, made by the actual employees. That's it. He does some token work and nothing else. He spends more time appearing on podcasts than working.
