What success? Tony took a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and destroyed it. AEW should be selling out stadiums and doing over a million viewers every week, but instead it averages 600k and they just had to cancel a stadium show due to lack of interest. AEW ain't shit compared to Bischoff's Nitro. Hell, you look at where TNA was after its first 5 years of existence and AEW doesn't even hold a candle to it. Many people in the wrestling business have squandered opportunities. But nobody squandered such a big opportunity and squandered it so badly as Tony did.

I guess that's why Nitro got renewed and Impact still hasn't, in over 22 years, managed to do what AEW could with its opening night.
