>>16340119I kinda hate that there is two men's tag belts to begin with. JDay defends titles less than Usos per month, Walltheory had almost no title defenses. It's just too little going on for two belts to justify it. Having one that's more contested and sought after by a wider base would be better.
In my fantasy booking fed there's only one for two shows and it would be hot potato more often too, I'd try to implant in my audience that tag team championship is more volatile and the importance of the champions is more on the how many days in a year you can hold it and how many championship matches you won.
If there's a clear superstar team that people want to see as champ, of course keep it longer on them but really make it a workhorse title, defend it once a week in either show if possible while the rest of the tags figure out their pecking order for that title shot.
That instead of focusing on tag v tag feuds because whats the point focusing the entire division on basically four guys on a single rivalry while rest sit in catering without agency.
It's not the perfect solution and has some hurdles with how to make people care about the people in the tags enough to care if there are less feuds but that could be said about the LWO janneties right now too.
