like especially the first rocky movie is far from how a real boxing match plays out but they're working it in a way that people who don't know shit about real boxing can still get into the drama and emotion
imagine if in rocky 1, the match started with apollo and rocky fighting off before the bell even rings on the outside, and then they go in the ring and the bell rings, and everyone was just doing flips and cartwheels and flipping punches during the match and bouncing off the ropes and doing dive spots in the first rocky movie, and someone randomly runs in, and thumbtacks are spilled into the ring, and there's a detonation timer looming over the match where the ring threatens to explode if there's no victor, that's aew, with moxley trying to be clubba lang and he's not even supposed to show up until 3 but somehow he's already there talking about death boxjitsu
