Feuded with Camp Cornette, fighting Bulldog in one of the worst WWE PPV main events of all time.
Drops the belt to Bret at Survivor Series.

These three had the misfortune of being dealt a mixture of a post-Hogan slump, horrible people to feud with and the rise of the NWO in WCW. Until Survivor Series 96, the WWF was just ice-cold.
