I don’t think many remember but this was during a time when they were trying to Make Miz the next Ric Flair and it always confused me since they had Ziggler right there.
It just seemed like their booking got swapped. Miz needed the stable that hid his in-ring weaknesses and served as bodies a chicken shit like him could hide behind. He also had the mic work that could’ve put over the other two far better.
Ziggler was already very in ring competent and was already mimicking many of Flair’s mannerisms before they ever thought about paring Flair with Miz.
I will never understand why it went the way it did in this timeline. At the very least we could’ve been saved from Miz’s disfigure four.
