Probably El Santo, oldest wrestler I know that starred in movies, sold tons of merch and had some worldwide fame.

Huh, what do you mean? He was enough of a star that he managed to create an entire wrestling scene in a country due to his influence alone. You can't trace US or Mexican wrestling to one person like you can with Rikidozan and Japan
