A massive red flag is Kurt Angle and we ALL know it. The fact that Kurt Angle has 0 five star matches according to Meltzer is the biggest giveaway that Dave rates WWE matches lower just for being in WWE. HBK, Brett, and Seth should all have more 5 star matches than what Dave has given them. The Angle situation was also addressed by Kenny Omega saying that he believes Angle is a better wrestler than himself and he doesn't understand how Dave's stars work if Angle of all people doesn't have ONE.
HBK vs Taker is largely regarded by most fans to be the greatest wrestling match of all time or at least in the top ten and Dave didn't give it 5 stars...
And Omega saying Dave has lost the plot is why he isn't Dave's golden boy anymore and Dave quickly made sure his new fave Will Ospreay passed Omega very quickly in stars.
I genuinely love AEW but I'm not a Dave fan.
