I dunno what it is, I'm not sure if he's even doing anything backstage but the stories seem to make less sense, the production doesn't seem to tie in to what's happening in the ring and overall the tone is just "off". Those 6 weeks he was back before All Out 2022 felt like a course correction, it immediately went back to being "off" when he was suspended, and when he returned to feud with the BCC with the Elite it felt like things were getting better. When he left in 2023 everything has gotten just a little worse each month, to the point where the production and stories are just plain lackluster now.
