He's a tryhard, in addition to talking like a black woman which he probably picked up from relationships with one simply by submitting to the more dominant alpha personality in the relationships as it always happens in nature, he tries way too hard to be something he's not. Just like Dean Ambrose trying to be the Stone Cold, Cody tries to be SuperCena, he tries so hard to imitate how Cena was acting around children and in the ring but has no natural talent to do it. He wears a suit and acts like he's the big deal but his midcarder nature seeping trough every time which is why it looks so fake and phony. He's a poser that plays with his costume closet, and it would be fine if he was just failing but he tries way too hard and this is why it comes off so cringe.
