And the vaunted "YouTube views" don't matter either, because businesses paying to find audiences to advertise on through YouTube exclude India, because they aren't going to buy products/services they can't access. A company like Wheatley Vodka will eventually notice that the millions of views that WWE are reporting on their ads aren't leading to any kind of sales increase.

Real answer: The indian market clicks never translated into dimes.
For example, in India tickets to sports events are free, and the organisers make money by getting sponsors. They're also all dirt poor in general.

part of it is that none of the indian guys they got were actually dimes at all. jinder was alright but they should not have made him champion so quickly, even indians probably thought that was stupid. jinder is also the wrong kind of indian - he's a punjabi sikh so he only appeals to that market, they needed a dravidian hindu or something. they love bobs and vagene but i don't recall any indian gfirl wrestlers they could use to market there either. the closest is santino's daughter, kinda looks indian but she is actually 1/4 pakistani, but i don't think they would understand her gimmick.
