AEW in 2024 seems like a completely different thing to 2020-early 2022 AEW and it's just not for me anymore. I'd prefer they did their own thing and didn't constantly chase WWE. I want an alternative, not Diet Coke WWE - redoing their production and stage design to look more like SDL was fucking retarded and getting rid of the rankings system was also stupid because it took away the one gimmick they had, something that with a bit of work could be awesome now that Dark/Elevation wasn't there to randomly pad numbers. Tony took the lazy route though and made every major mistake that WCW and TNA did, despite claiming he's a student of pro wrestling or whatever the fuck turn of phrase he used.
