AEWtists seem to think AEW is safe now that it's been renewed but that isn't the case. TV contracts are conditional. Networks always reserve the right to cancel a show if its ratings sink too low. Shows have been canceled mid-season due to poor ratings.
Ratings for Dynamite are on track to sink to somewhere between 300k to 400k in late 2025. In response to this, WBD will cancel Dynamite and terminate its contract with AEW because they don't want a valuable timeslot to continue being wasted on a dead show with no future. This kind of thing is routine in the TV business. Always has been. Always will be.
I strongly suggest that AEWtists spend the next year making peace with God and emotionally and mentally bracing themselves for the inevitable cancellation.
