He was consistently having some of the funnest matches matches back in the mid-late 2000s. And I don't mean 'best matches' as in what cagematch, meltzer or some smark defines as good nowadays. I mean his matches were carwrecks for like 10mins that were entertaining as fuck. I'm a millenial bordering on zoomer loads of boys at my school had at least heard of AJ and knew he did crazy shit.
And his Smackdown run in 2016 speaks for itself. He was about the closest you could get to Jeff Hatdy with all the spots, then later on he was like Angle an outstanding wrestler but who could entertain. He's a fucking GOAT
