do you really need that much work in 2020+4? the way it looks to me is you need to spend a shit ton of time in the indies, wait for some smarks online to discover you and spam you everywhere, then go to wwe or aew and get paid to wrestle 3 times a year

I did a little referee work since I had experience reffing other sports and was good at looking like I knew what I was doing. Practiced some of the classic ref bumps but never actually took one in front of a crowd. It was fun but I was still actively refereeing other stuff so I didn't have time to stick with it. Now I live in the middle of nowhere so there's no wrestling nearby to referee.

I work out 3 times a week. What I don't do is smash my body to pieces for $20 bucks in front of 7 people because I like a TV show. That's idiotic. I earn more from passive income watching an indie show than most of the wrestlers there do for taking ridiculous bumps. Which is why unless you're in WWEs athlete program or you're getting decent guaranteed future income like the Ortons and Cenas were then becoming a wrestler is stupid as fuck.
