The twitter post were the final straw but it was deeper than that.
Hana was not fully japanese, she was half indonesian from her father´s side (father she never met), this sort of thing is a BIG DEAL in Japan. She was bullied while growing up because of this.
But she found something that made her happy: wrestling. Being a wrestler made her feel loved and accepted. Wrestling was her therapy.
But covid killed that as wrestling events could be held at the time (remember all this happened during the pandemic), so now she was cut off from the one thing that made her happy, with her only form of human contact being the internet, where people were bullying her.
