Wrestling is real. Through rigorous training and abuse talent have steeled their bodies in order to withstand the physical abuse and potential injuries. The few bruises they do get usually get covered up with make up. They do so in order to circumvent labor laws. They also have real heat with each other - KO is shoot mad at Cody for betraying him which is why he hit him with a piledriver. Cody's status is currently unknown and things aren't looking good.
