>>16516173Even amongst the dirtsheets and podcasters the console war is a work (at least amongst those with a clue). For guys like Cornette and Russo who hate AEW it's something to laugh at and generate content from. I remember early on in its existence AEW did something so egregious that Corny said he'd never watch it again. But his numbers fell and he changed his mind a week later. Also a lot of the perception that WWE is good again comes from people complaining about AEW. It's cool to be a WWE fan again because they look good in comparison to AEW fans.
