>>16528368The politics suck and Brian's synth work is a meme.
That's not why there's not as much talk about the shows though.
Here's a good example of why.
Last year they started a little trip down memory lane by visiting Cornette's travel logs and calendars from his start in the wrestling business.
There were a couple of iterations, then a week of nothing and a week where they went back again, and somewhere in early 2024 it all just abruptly ended for no reason and it never got mentioned again, until the most recent Experience where they suddenly brought it back.
There's no telling what's in the show, projects start and stop randomly and they're not telling anyone why.
That makes it difficult to care about the podcasts. I only listen to them as bedtime stories.
Another example: the Drive-Thru always had questions. They went months without doing questions because Brian's fucking dying for a break he refuses to give himself and gets sick all the fucking time. I don't think there's been a single episode this year where Brian wasn't sick in some way.
That plays into the reviews as well, where Corny and Last only watch half the show and Last has to get faded to even see half of it by his own admission.
When you do listen to what they have to say, it's a broken record, and I don't blame them. The business is shit and takes forever to change, so the shit is put on repeat until the groove finally wears out.
I suspect that lawsuit with that ad handler has something to do with it as well but the shows have been a bit erratic all year.
