It was called HBO Now less than five years ago. It was HBO Now for longer than it's been HBO Max or Max. My Roku remote still has a button labeled HBO Now that continues to work for Max. Yet I and everyone else not on Planet R can deftly navigate these glacially shifting sands, why can't you?
