It's really that simple.
Vince was always his own worst enemy shooting himself in the foot by constantly trying to do shit himself and control everything. Vince was good as an editor or 'filter'. There's countless people like Russo, Jericho, HHH, Cornette, Bruce whoever who all say the same thing. "Vince could take this 8/10 creative, tweak tiny things, and make it a 10/10".
Paul can't book for shit either but to his credit he recognizes the importance in acknowledging he doesn't know everything and letting people do their job for him.
