Tons of veterans have signed with AEW in producer/agent/mentor type roles and all of them didn't renew their contract because the roster are full of self marks that won't take any advice. Punk said all of his advice was ignored, Mark Henry said the same thing, Arn Anderson left for the same reason, The Hardys said no one would take notes from them, Paul Wight is still there and said in some interview he was frustrated about talent not taking feedback. Even non-WWE guys like Christopher Daniels, Ace Steel, Tully Blanchard, Frankie Kazarian, and Nick Mondo said nobody listened to them. For some reason the only guy anyone listened to was William Regal, and he got the fuck out of there the first chance he got. AEW's roster doesn't respect veterans, they all just want to get their dumb spots in that don't make any sense and no sell everything.
