We might never see someone crop up and capture the wrestling world's attention like Kenny did during his heavyweight run in New Japan. There is no AEW today without the next level hype and clout he created during that time. He literally changed the wrestling world during that run.
Also, Kenny's classics with Naito, Ishii, and Okada are superior to anything Will has done.
The problem with Will is not the in-ring abilities he possesses; it's that he doesn't have the aesthetic and the aura of this wrestling hero that Kenny had. When Will came in to AEW he almost captured that feeling. Unfortunately, not long after the Danielson match, AEW quickly squandered that and turned him into just another guy.
