Why do AEW fans keep saying that Smackdown or "Slopdown" was cancelled?

The show is on TV every week, and always pulls about 1 million viewers. AEW can barely pull 500k viewers, and one of it's shows literally just got canceled, and yet they keep repeating the meme, as it if it means anything.

Am I missing something? Are they ill? Or are they just retarded?
